About this free course

What is social entrepreneurship?

Social entrepreneurship means using practical, sustainable approaches to address a social problem. It connects a clear social purpose with activities that create change and a way to resource the work over time. Income may come from trading, grants or a combination of sources.

Who is this course for?

It is an introductory course for aspiring social entrepreneurs, community organisers and people developing a social impact organisation. You do not need previous business experience. The lessons can be used in Pakistan and elsewhere; local registration and legal requirements need local advice.

Is the social entrepreneurship course really free?

Yes. All six written lessons, exercises and the downloadable workbook are free to access. You do not need to register or pay.

How do I study the course?

Read each lesson and complete its practical exercise at your own pace. Start with your purpose, then work through advocacy, organisational setup, networks, growth and leadership. Your final task is a 90-day action plan.

Are videos or certificates available?

The written lessons and workbook are available now. Video lessons will be added after recording. This introductory series does not currently issue certificates.
