About

A life shaped by service and by the refusal to accept that exclusion is inevitable.

Fajer Rabia Pasha is a Pakistani social entrepreneur, education advocate, writer and founder with more than two decades of experience across the United Kingdom and Pakistan.

Based in

Islamabad, Pakistan

Working across: Education, economic empowerment, responsible AI, skills and health

Current roles

Founder & CEO across Balance 360, Balance AI and Zainab College of Nursing; COO, Dr Sadiq Foundation

Board positions: National Education Foundation; Pakistan Alliance for Early Childhood Education

Fajer’s work began long before it became a career. At 16, volunteering alongside her mother exposed her to the determination of women entrepreneurs and to the barriers that kept talent, income and independence out of reach.

At 18, she founded Inspired Sisters in Manchester: a women-focused social enterprise and resource centre serving women from diverse and ethnic-minority communities. Its work connected education with training, employment, entrepreneurship, mentoring and community participation.

After returning to Pakistan in 2013, Fajer brought that experience into girls’ education at national scale. From 2015 to 2025, she led the Pakistan Alliance for Girls Education, building partnerships with government, communities and international organisations and advancing non-formal education, digital inclusion and leadership opportunities for girls.

Today, her portfolio connects the systems that shape women’s lives: economic opportunity through Balance 360; accessible, responsible technology through Balance AI and Tawazun; healthcare skills through Zainab College of Nursing; and social protection through Dr Sadiq Foundation.

Across every chapter, the principle is the same: listen closely, understand the full system, and build something practical enough to change a life.

01

Start with dignity.

People are not problems to be solved. Good systems expand agency, choice and voice.

02

Connect the evidence.

Education, income, safety, health and technology must be understood together.

03

Build for use.

Ideas matter when they become accessible tools, stronger institutions and real opportunities.

Board & public leadership

Contributing to the institutions that shape opportunity.

Alongside her executive work, Fajer serves across education, early childhood development, digital inclusion, women’s economic participation and the SDGs.
