My first term in Pakistan comes to an end šŸ™‚

So today it hit me that it has been 5 years now since I moved back to Pakistan from UK. What a roller coaster ride it has been for me.

When I came back, leaving everything behind (probably one of the most difficult and riskiest step I took in my life) – I had to start all over again. I felt I packed 9 years worth of my work and achievements in a box and left it in the storage container I used to store my belongings. For the last two years, I have been unpacking my box slowly and carefully.

Not rushing with anything but building my foundations once again.

In the last 15 years I learnt that no matter how much we plan, Allah always has His own plans for us. And they are always better. I also learnt that your end goal needs to be clear and to get to your final destination you may have to take many roads and many exits, you may also have to stop, take a break and catch you breath. But as long you are moving forward then one day you will be at the right place.

At this election times, it feels like I have successfully completed my first term in Pakistan and I am so ready for the next 5 years inshallah (if Allah wills of course).

I’m grateful to Allah for making my journey a very interesting one as always. And for blessing with more sincere friends then I deserve. Please keep me in your sincere prayers. JZK
